Who Built Fort Granger? Discussion with Kraig McNutt @ 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, June. 8. Fort Granger is one of the best-preserved earthen fortifications in all of Tennessee. It was built during the Civil War, and was strategically used by the Federals from 1863 onward. Due to the recent surfacing of a soldiers authentic letter, information, which was before only speculated or not know, is now verified. Kraig McNutt is Director of the Center for the Study of the American Civil War and has been studying this seminal period for over 25 years. McNutt will entertain questions at the lecture. No registration necessary.

Nexus Chamber Trio: Catch the Beat. 11 a.m., Saturday, June 11. Nexus Chamber members will present an interactive concert / music education program for all ages. Free and open to the public. No registration necessary. This project is funded under an agreement with the Tennessee Arts Commission with a donation from the Williamson County Library Foundation.
Civil War Roundtable. 3 p.m., Sunday, June 12. The Mystery of Ulysses S. Grant, presented by Dr. Glenn La Fantasie of Western Kentucky University. La Fantasie will explore the wartime successes and failures that made the man, and ultimately shaped the course of the Civil War.
Organizing Papers! 6 p.m., Monday, June 13. Join Liz Jenkins, Certified Professional Organizer and owner of a fresh space www.afreshspace.com , as she guides you through the paper jungle. Learn how to manage your papers, gain control over them and create systems that work for you in your home or office. Liz will demonstrate specific ways to reduce papers--filing them and determining what papers need to be kept. Paper is one of the biggest frustrations for many people, and Liz has years of experience dealing with it. Bring your questions and come learn from a pro! The talk is free and open to the public.
